Importance of Deep Breathing

© Alfred J. Parker

The most important breath is the deeper and more sustained breathing more fully to vitalize the body and the brain cells for better supervision of the emotions and to quicken and clarity one's thinking. The system of the body in relation to the breathing is like an electric system that is dependent upon the current generated in the power-house. If the dynamo slows up, the lights immediately dim. So it is with the human system, the solar plexus is the body batter which is charged through breathing.

Through practice, a long, rhythmic and retained breath will dissipate moods of all kinds and will clarify one's thinking. A constructive positive thought backed by positive breathing will vitalize and give power to the thought.

There is tremendous key for progress in the power of the breath combined with constructive thinking.
